EKO-flora

Eko-Flora is the organic branch of Schouten Tulips. The developments of the past decades have made us increasingly aware of the responsibility we bear for our living environment, raw materials and the earth. Responsible handling of our lives and our health has ensured that people are becoming increasingly aware of what they eat and consume, in the broadest sense of the word. As a nursery, we cannot lag behind in these developments.

In 2005, we started growing bulbs organically. Despite the many challenges we encountered, we were pleasantly surprised every season by the quality of the organic bulbs and flowers. This gave us the inspiration to continue and further expand our activities.

We strongly believe in the concept of Eko-Flora. In addition to tulips, we see many opportunities, especially now that the land around our barn has also obtained the organic certificate. This offers excellent opportunities for growing other organic summer flowers. It is a development that is unmistakably part of the growing desire to be increasingly greener and more sustainable.
