Tulipsgreen v.o.f.

We are Jochem and Peter, and together with our passionate team, we grow flower bulbs in the Noordoostpolder. In addition to our traditional company, Stengs & Leijten, we started growing organic flower bulbs in 2019 under the name Tulipsgreen. Why? Because we believe that the current cultivation system is not sustainable enough in the long term. We are aware of the societal discussion on crop protection, which is why we opt for a proactive approach. We are researching how to grow flower bulbs without chemical crop protection and fertilizers. This is a learning process: we gain a lot of new knowledge, but also face challenges. Nevertheless, we persevere, driven by the ambition to eventually make chemical-free cultivation possible. With the knowledge we acquire, we hope to contribute to a more sustainable future for traditional cultivation. And above all, it is wonderful to provide our organic customers with a beautiful, diverse assortment of flower bulbs - a result we are extremely proud of!
